About

Timeless content. Let us see! My name is Chelsea, I am 31 years young and I am a self-proclaimed bookworm or bibliophile, if you prefer. I love books. Everything about them. The way they smell, the way a new spine creeks open, the words in black on white. The absolute guarantee that you’re going on an adventure, I love it all. “A book a day, keeps reality away.” And that is just how I like it! Growing up I was always reading, from the Barbie Adventures in glossy pink hard back with moral lessons in my early elementary days, to Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys in my middle school preteen years, to Fifty Shades of Grey and The Goldfinch in my adult years. I was in a slump and got away from reading for many years, probably because I thought I was too cool to read in high school. However, I have renewed my love and interest for books! Over the past decade I have read a great deal but never read for anything other than my own enjoyment. That was it. I would devour books and jump right into the next one. I never took the time to think about what the book said to me. Now with this blog I am jumping into reviews (when I remember) and simply just sharing my love of everything book related!

I have found that when you go into a book with a review in mind, you get much more out of the book! I catch details I may have missed if I were just speed reading like I normally would. I don’t stick to any one particular genre, but I do favor young adult, romance and fiction. There is something about leaving our world and jumping into another is so exciting!

I live in a small town in South Carolina and outside of work at the county library I devote my time to my husband (he is my everything, My Heart), our four dogs, four cats, and my degree. I took the plunge four years ago to back to school and I will soon have my Bachelors degree in English and History. Then, with much luck and determination, I will be on my way towards my Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science. I cannot freakin’ wait!
